Notre-Dame d’Auteuil

Édifiée de 1877 à 1892 par Vaudremer (1819-1914) dans le style romano- byzantin, récemment restaurée intérieurement, Sur la voute de l’abside de la chapelle de la Vierge, un Christ Pantocrator et sur les voûtes de la nef les Litanies de la Vierge par Antoine-Eugène Compan (1841- 1912). Dans le choeur, l’autel et le Christ de la croix sont de Philippe Kaeppelin (1918-2011). Dans le transept, Mater Dolorosa de Carpeaux. Dans la crypte, moulage d’une Vierge du 17e siècle provenant de l’ancienne église et panneau de retable (16e siècle ?) représentant la messe de Saint Grégoire. Orgue Cavaillé-Coll 1884 (3 claviers, 53 jeux). 

Built between 1877 and 1892 by Vaudremer (1819-1914) in the Romanesque-Byzantine style, the church’s interior has recently been restored. On the vaulted apse of the chapel of the Virgin, a Christ Pantocrator and on the vaults of the nave the Litanies of the Virgin by Antoine-Eugène Compan (1841-1912). In the choir, the altar and Christ of the Cross are by Philippe Kaeppelin (1918-2011). In the transept, Carpeaux’s Mater Dolorosa. In the crypt, a cast of a 17th-century Virgin Mary from the former church and an altarpiece panel (16th century?) depicting the Mass of Saint Gregory. Cavaillé-Coll organ 1884 (3 manuals, 53 stops).
